Perfect is Boring

What a WEEK! Gosh I love my job. Well, I guess I would call it more of an obsession because it surely doesn’t feel like work!

I am so grateful for the opportunities Southern Luxe has been presented with in just a few short months. I am also SO deeply appreciative to all of my wonderful clients for trusting us and continuing to trust us on this journey! Opening a business may not be the easiest path, but sometimes we gotta take a leap of faith & know it will all be worth it in the end. 💛 Often times we're in such a hurry to reach our goals, that we forget to just be patient with ourselves. If you're struggling in this area, you’re not alone. The only way we can grow and continue on in this world, is to accept the fact that we’re not perfect. I’d be lying if I said I have every aspect of my life together. Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt the desire to do something great or be 'perfect' at something {whether it be your relationships, career, your business?} Envisioned it, planned it out perfectly, and then failed at it? Well, I'll be the first one to admit that this a major fault of mine.

Perfection is unattainable and always will be. The more you fight that reality, the more you’ll miss out on opportunities to fix the things that prevent you from being totally awesome! It's okay if you don't have it all figured out. It's okay if you make mistakes. It's okay if you're feeling frustrated, stressed out, uncertain, or unclear. You are enough. Just like there's no changing your humanness, there's no changing God's grace. There's no changing the fact that He wants you and uses you just as you are. The least we can ask of ourselves is to recognize that we aren’t perfect, but still strive for that perfection through constant refinement. So let's embrace that imperfect identity and work with our Creator to be the best we can be! #inspireothers #patienceisavirtue #perfectisboring #interiordesignerslife
